HALF CIRCLE RIDING & WALKING SKIRT
BASE PRICE: 1500 SEK
CUSTOMER PRICE: ON REQUEST
For all shapes, ages & sizes
A long skirt with a slit in the back, ideal for riding & walking.
The perfect skirt to keep you warm without restricting your mobility or compromising your sense of style! The overlapping slit keeps the skirt along the sides of the horse, ideal for a skittish or easily overheated horse. Ribbons on the insides keep it secure in windy conditions. This skirt is perfect if you don’t want the fullness that comes with the full skirt.
Uniquely you
This skirt is unique in that you get to decide what goes into it.

FABRIC
There is a wide assortment of fabrics available for this skirt, in various colours and patterns. And hey – if you have a specific look in mind and you can’t find what you want out of the materials I offer, we’ll sort something out for you to get your perfect skirt! The fabrics all have their pros/cons, so make sure to take a look at the Fabrics & Materials page to figure out which suits your needs. The page also lists all the prices per meter, so that you can plan your budget accordingly. The available materials for this skirt are:
Polar fleece, recycled wool, patterned recycled wool, mottled recycled wool, patterned wool mix, and fine wadmal. Garments made from wool have stitched edges (zigzag) along the bottom and any openings. Fleece garments have raw edges as these don’t fray.

CLASPS & RIBBONS
This skirt has two options for the number of clasps, as listed below. There is a large assortment of clasps available for all budgets. See the Fabrics & Materials page for options and prices under “CLASPS”.
None – No clasps. Ideal when you only use the skirt for riding, not for mucking out the stable.
Two – Two clasps at the sides to pull back the front of the skirt. Ideal for stable duty and for walking.
The price for each model of clasp in the form below is for the total cost – i.e. 3x the unit price. Sometimes things happen and you can end up losing a clasp, no matter how strongly they’re sewn on. Since stock and options can vary I now always order an extra clasp that is sent loose with your skirt. You can squirrel the extra one away at home so you have one in case of an accident!
Note that when choosing Varg or Eriel; a seam is stitched vertically along the front of the skirt at the front buckles as these are so heavy that they can stretch the fabric over time.
The skirt has two alternatives when it comes to the ribbons on the inside. These are also shown on the Fabrics & Materials page, where you can see the available options.
Oblekt bomull (unbleached cotton ribbon) and Oblekt linne (unbleached linen ribbon)
POCKETS
Pockets are available as an add-on. Made to fit pretty much all you need, and more! See the pockets showcase video for more information.
Skirts without pockets have no side seam.
EMBROIDERY
Machine embroidered monograms are available as an add-on in a range of colours in several styles. See the Monograms page for more information. Do you have a custom request, such as a logo? Make sure to take a look at that page as well.
My designs are available in two variations; single colour (everything in one colour) and multicoloured (frame in one colour, text in another). However “Letter with Leaves” is only available in multicolour.
A perfect fit
Bespoke & made to measure for a perfect fit.
As I won’t personally be able to take your measurements, you need to watch this how-to-measure video to make sure that the measurements you send me are the exact ones that I need for your skirt to fit as intended.
Ordering a skirt
You & your skirt are unique – your price is as well.
As this skirt is made to order and unique to each client, prices are also set per client. The base price listed is the set cost for making a skirt. The customer price (covering the cost of materials) is as unique to you as your skirt is! Fill in the inquiry form below so that I can calculate your material cost to make sure that you only pay for what you need.
The inquiry form is not binding, so feel free to inquire about any item you are interested in. If you’re unsure about your choice of fabric you can add a second option in “Other Questions/Requests”. After you have received the price quote(s) and the expected time frame for your order, you can go ahead and order by following the directions in the email. For more information on payment options, ordering times, an in-depth overview of the order process, etcetera – see the FAQ page.
REQUEST QUOTE
I normally reply within 24 hours – check your junk folder if you haven’t gotten an answer; sometimes they get stuck there. If for some reason the form isn’t working (This can technically happen when things behind my site updates, but it’s rare!) you can email me directly at info [at] komudesigns.com
